Royal One Bible Study
I am so excited to have you join me in studying the Bible chronologically.
There are three goals for the bible study: reading for information, spiritual transformation, and community fellowship.
To read for information, we will follow a chronological daily reading guide. As you read, write down any questions that may arise. Set aside a certain time each day that works best for you and read.
For spiritual transformation, we are going to use the SOAP method. The SOAP Method is a proven and effective approach to Bible study built on four practices:
* Scripture, reading a passage and writing out 1–2 specific verses by hand.
* Observation, asking questions of the text (who, what, where, when, how).
* Application, considering how you should respond to what you’ve read.
* Prayer, write a prayer in response to the reading for greater insight.
For community fellowship, we will meet every Sunday at 7 pm EST via Zoom. We will discuss the weekly reading, pray, and answer any questions you have during the week.
